Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of getambleco.com and anything you buy from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who we are

Amble Co. is an online store based in New Zealand, selling gear for dogs. You can reach us at Support.amble@gmail.com.

2. Using this site

You must be able to form a binding contract to buy from us. You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful, not to attempt to interfere with how it works, and not to copy or resell our content without permission.

3. Products and prices

We do our best to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colours can look different on different screens, and measurements are approximate. Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars unless your currency selector says otherwise, and can change without notice. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or we suspect fraud, and we will refund you in full if we do. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify and its payment providers, and we never see or store your card details.

5. Shipping

Delivery times and costs are set out on our shipping page. Timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Any customs or import charges are yours to pay.

6. Returns and refunds

Our returns page forms part of these terms and explains what we cover and how to make a claim.

7. Safe use of our products

Our products are for dogs and, where stated, cats. Supervise your pet when introducing anything new, check the fit of collars, harnesses and coats regularly, and stop using an item that is worn or damaged. Nothing we sell or write is veterinary advice. If your dog is unwell or in pain, speak to your vet.

8. Our content

The text, photography, logo and design on this site belong to Amble Co. or our licensors. You may share links to our pages. You may not copy our content for commercial use without written permission.

9. Your content

If you send us a review, photograph or message, you allow us to use it in connection with our store. You keep ownership of it, and you confirm it is yours to share.

10. Other sites

We sometimes link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

11. Liability

We provide the site as it is and we do not promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies to you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
