Slow Feeder Puzzle Dog Bowl | Gentle Enrichment for Slower Days

Part bowl, part puzzle, entirely absorbing. The Amble Co. Slow Feeder Puzzle Dish makes your dog work his food out of the toy's nooks and channels rather than swallowing dinner whole, and that single change does two jobs at once: it slows eating to a pace his stomach can handle, and it gives his brain a proper workout at the same time.

Gulped meals mean swallowed air, bloating and food that comes back up; puzzled-out meals mean calmer digestion and a dog who finishes eating relaxed instead of still ravenous. The mental effort matters just as much. Ten minutes of focused foraging burns restless energy the way a walk does, which makes this dish a quiet lifesaver on rainy days, during recovery rest, or for dogs left alone with too little to do. It also makes an excellent boredom-breaker for food-motivated cats, who take to the puzzle channels just as enthusiastically as dogs do.

The durable silicone body stands up to determined snouts and paws, stays put while he works, and rinses clean or goes in the dishwasher afterwards. Use it for full meals, scattered treats or frozen mixtures on hot days. It suits puppies learning patience and seniors eating too fast alike. Supervise play-feeding and remove the dish if chewing begins.
